Blog - Eastwell Park Boat House
On Saturday it was a first for me, playing at the Eastwell Park Boat House. As the name suggests, this venue is located next to a lake and offers stunning views across it.
I was setup downstairs in the function room and to make it easier I setup in the morning.
I left setting up my lights until the evening as this is a quick and easy job for me to do, while I'm playing some background music to warm the guests up.
The venue has been well laid out, with guests arriving in the upstairs room where the wedding ceremony takes place. The handy part is that this is level with the car park with an access via a ramp onto the balcony. Then it's downstairs into the reception room.
I'd been briefed in advance that the guests would mainly be older and this was reflected in the variety of music played with a few requests thrown in, as you can see by looking through the full tracklisting.
