As many people will be placing their bets as to whether we'll see snow falling on Christmas day, I've been noticing a trend over the last couple of years. A white Christmas period.

Not just have we seen the light dusting of snow in recent years, I've seen an increase in the number of weddings in November & December. December used to be a month jam packed full of Christmas parties and by the middle of the month became a little tedious.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no scrooge when it comes to Christmas, I do enjoy a few Christmas tracks and festive spirit (of both kinds) however none-stop Christmas does become a little too repetitive for my liking.

Thankfully the Christmas parties have become broken up with weddings in the last year or two which is like a breath of fresh air.

As long as snow and white dresses don't clash I don't mind, let's enjoy the time of year.
