It's always interesting to read advice from other people, especially when planning something as important as your wedding day.

A survey of brides in the UK has revealed some interesting facts and figures:

  • When brides plan their big day they will admit that the entertainment is one of the last things they consider, and yet it spans in most cases, well over 5 hours of the day and night.
  • Over 70% have said that if they were to plan their big day again the entertainment would be a higher priority.
  • Nearly 90% agree that they should have met the DJ prior to the wedding.
  • Almost 98% have said that the budget that they allocated, to ensure they and their guests were entertained better, should have been more.
  • Most guests when asked what they remembered the most about a wedding will always include (in the top three) what the entertainment was like, if you donít believe this then think of the last few weddings that youíve attended and ask yourself what did you remember the most.
  • A large number of couples asked, who only had a band for their wedding, indicated that they should have included a disco to allow a bigger choice of music or would have just had a DJ instead.
Couples spend a great deal of time choosing the dress, venue, cake, photographer and rings but seem quite happy to opt for the first DJ that they come across thinking "well it's only putting a few records on so what can go wrong with that".

The answer is simple, we can make or break a wedding if we don't do our job correctly or don't have enough experience to get a party on track if something goes wrong.

Are you willing to take the chance with the large investment in time and money that becomes your special day?

That's why I will meet with you in advance to discuss what you want and make sure that you gain the most out of your evening and make it one to remember.
