Blog - Should I cancel my party?

Should you cancel your wedding or party because of coronavirus? It's a difficult decision and one that no doubt many people who have weddings and parties planned over the coming weeks will be asking themselves.

It's a tough decision to make and for weddings and other events that people have spent months (or even years) planning it will be heart-wrenching to see all that work go to waste.

But the advice given today by the UK government is hard to ignore that we should be avoiding mass gatherings.

The situation is ever-evolving and you should seek the latest advice published by government.

If you are thinking of going ahead, it's best that you check with your guests and suppliers to get a clear picture on who may or may not be attending. This might make your decision much easier than feeling that you are letting your guests down or at risk of facing cancellation charges.

Like everyone, I am keeping a close eye on the updates. If anyone that has booked me wishes to postpone I am happy to honour those bookings providing I am available on the new date.
